Set against the hazy backdrop of a late-summer West Virginia, we follow three teenage girls - Devin, Cherry, and Ollie - on the cusp of adulthood, where desire, shame, and secrecy simmer beneath the surface.
Devin enters a confusing romance with a boy who shares her name, stirring questions about identity and intimacy. Cherry wrestles with feelings she can’t say out loud, while Ollie hides a growing addiction no one is ready to confront.
As the heat of the summer builds, an unexpected moment shifts the balance of their friendship - forcing each girl to reckon with the heartbreak of growing up, and the unspoken truths that quietly reshape the bonds we thought were unbreakable.
A tender, atmospheric coming-of-age story, it explores the fragile nature of friendship and the fault lines of adolescence in a place too small to hold them all.
